The olives are overhead harvested and processed using "state
of the art" Alfa Laval milling equipment (imported from
Italy ensuring a high quality first cold pressed Extra Virgin
Olive Oil - under 30ęC) within 12 hours ensuring the freshness
and fruit characteristic of the olive and Limestone Coast
region is captured in the flavour of the oil.
The first cold pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil is then stored
in stainless steel tanks with a nitrogen blanket to ensure
the flavour is maintained (n.b. stainless steel with nitrogen
blanket is used to maintain quality as air and light will
cause oil to lose it's flavour).
Padthaway Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil is available in 250ml
and 500ml tinted dark green bottles.
Padthaway Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil has won silver and
bronze awards in class 2 and 4 of A.O.A. 2004 awards and gold,
silver and bronze in the 2004 Olive South Australia awards
as well as the Limestone Coast awards.
